Our natural soap base
We only source the purest and highest quality of natural soap ingredients to ensure that every time you use our natural soap bar, you fall in love.
Only the purest ingredients
There are many ready-to-make, melt-and-pour soap bases in the market which are used by most of the so-called “handmade” soap companies in India. But we pride ourselves in creating custom natural soap base so that it truly helps our customers with skin conditions like acne, blemishes, exfoliation and eczema.
Organic ingredients also ensure that when the soap washes away into the drains, it does not harm our environment. After all, we have one life, one planet and it is our responsibility to take care of our planet and other species who share it with us.
African Shea Butter
Shea Butter is your skin’s best friend. It is effective in treating a growing number of skin conditions like eczema, dermatitis, skin peeling due to tanning, skin cracks, blemishes and wrinkles, skin allergies, sunburns, insect bites and many others. Cold-pressed shea butter is the best quality for skin. It should be raw and unrefined.
The Good Routine handmade soaps use raw, unrefined Grade A Shea Butter as one of the primary ingredients in natural soapmaking.
We import it directly from Ghana and pay special importance to its age and grade for maximum efficacy in our handmade soaps.
Organic & cold-pressed Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a great oil for natural soap base as it has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. It is an excellent natural cleanser: the fatty acids in coconut removes dirt, dead skin and other free radicals in the skin.
Coconut oil is also effective in a variety of skin conditions like skin irritation, excessive dryness, redness, itching, and eczema. It is excellent for both skin and hair as a moisturizer. It is because of these various skin benefits of coconut oil that our soaps use it as a primary ingredient in our natural soap base.
All The Good Routine handmade soap recipes are designed to address specific skin problems like acne and eczema. Our natural soaps are ideal even if you have sensitive skin.
Cold-pressed Castor Oil
Using Castor oil on skin can help reduce fine lines and delay the appearance of wrinkles. This is because it goes deep within the layers of your skin and encourages the production of collagen and elastin. When used regularly, it can help your skin look naturally radiant and youthful.
Many skin products on the market today contain benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid in their formulations to tackle acne, but that tends to dry out the skin. Castor oil does the same job naturally without damaging your skin. It also has amazing skin cleansing properties.
We add it in our all-natural handmade soap because it creates the most luxurious, rich, creamy lathers. It also has amazing skin cleansing properties. There is no need for adding harmful chemicals like SLS or SLES. There’s always a natural alternative to healing skin and we believe in going for the best that nature has to offer.
Food-grade Olive Oil
Natural beauty devotees have dubbed Olive oil as “liquid gold” because of its skin nourishing properties and various health benefits. Olive oil is a great oil for natural soap base in The Good Routine handmade soaps as it is extremely moisturizing and mild even for the most sensitive skin. It is effective in treating skin disorders such as acne, psoriasis and seborrheic eczemas.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant, and is great in handmade soap recipes. T also helps restore damaged skin cells due to pollution, extreme harsh weather or environmental factors, and prevents UV damage from prolonged sun exposure.
Another thing that makes olive oil special for your skin is that it contains two other major antioxidants: polyphenols and phytosterols, These help protect skin cells, control the aging process and promotes the production of collagen, which naturally decreases as we age. Using olive oil in soap regularly can give a youthful appearance to your skin.
Why Natural Matters
Taking a shower is a thing of joy. It’s one of those essential daily routines that we can never separate from our lives. But ever wondered where all the chemicals – from soaps and shampoos to face scrubs, body washes and face washes – where do they go? How often do we realize that if something can cause skin cancer what damage it can have on the marine lives in the oceans?
